ASSASSIN'S CREED JADE GAMEPLAY LEAKS!
ASSASSIN'S CREED CODENAME JADE LEAKS FOR ANDROID/IOS!
December 17. 2022.
A video containing gameplay of Assassin's Creed Jade leaks online, showcasing a battle taking place along the Great Wall of China!

Gameplay for the upcoming mobile game Assassin's Creed Codename Jade has been leaked, showcasing what is seemingly an early section of the title. It was one of many projects announced under the Assassin's Creed brand earlier this year, albeit one that drew some ire once it was revealed to be a mobile game.
September's Ubisoft Forward was the perfect opportunity for the publisher to flesh out its projects that players could expect in the years to come. One of the most anticipated franchises from the French company is Assassin's Creed, which has not seen a mainline entry since Assassin's Creed Valhalla was released in November 2020. Fans of the series were delighted to see not one but multiple titles in development, including Assassin's Creed Mirage - a release expected for 2023 that would allegedly take the franchise back before the transition to an open-world role-playing game. Assassin's Creed Jade, meanwhile, was marketed as featuring the series' "classic" gameplay while operating within an open-world.

Leaked INFO Gameplay Mobile: (Gameplay Video Removed by Ubisoft!!!)

Leaked Gameplay Mobile: (if you see black screen, video is removed!)

The reveal trailer started strong, but hopes were quickly dashed for many as soon as "Coming Soon To Mobile" was displayed and a recent gameplay leak of the mobile game has comments understandably hoping for an eventual port to PC. The original Facebook upload has since been deleted, but user dattuu posted the video to Reddit before this occurred which provided nearly three minutes of gameplay.

Official Trailer:

It begins with the player character running across the Great Wall of China amid a battle, arrows darting across the screen as they perform light parkour during traversal. The user interface and artistic direction are reminiscent of recent titles, particularly Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and approximately a minute passes before this is confirmed further with combat. A touchscreen prompt pops up, used to engage in combat against a level 40 Xiongnu Raider who has a health bar. Quite a few strikes are required to take down the enemy, which then allows the player to take a zipline away from the Great Wall.
The gameplay then transitions into a cutscene that is absent of voice acting but has sound effects that accurately correspond to the action seen. Given the subtitles present, it can be assumed voiced performances are simply not a part of the current build. Despite the player's level, tutorial prompts and character introductions suggest this segment takes place rather early on in the game. For a title bound to iOS and Android, the quality is likely to please fans that are still interested, but expectations should be tempered. Ever since Diablo Immortal proved that even established franchises can implement egregious forms of monetization on mobile, players should be wary until Assassin's Creed Jade releases.

Assassin's Creed Codename Jade is currently in development for iOS and Android.
