Small town rookie cop Jen investigates one in a string of disappearances with her veteran partner, but then heads off early for a first date with a man she met online. Although the date seems to be going well, a call from Jen's mom sends her outside to chat, leaving her date alone with her drink. One careless moment of misplaced trust, and Jen finds herself in the trunk of a car, trussed up and with duct tape over her mouth. After a nail-biting moment when her captor is pulled over by Jen's still-on-the-job partner for failing to signal a turn, her captor is let off with a warning and Jen is left to plan her own escape.Finding a tire iron in the car, she waits for her moment and when her captor opens the trunk, she lets him have it. He's down but not out, and Jen screws up her courage for a final, brutal showdown.
