War and Magic is a MMO for mobile platforms that is based on Heroes of Might and Magic and other similar games. The players are split over a number of servers (called Kingdoms) and there is a heavy emphasis on working in teams (Alliances)a
There are various benefits to belonging to an Alliance such as sharing resources and troops and even an Alliance Skill Tree once the Alliance reaches level 10.
Players would spend some of their time inside their own cities to perform administrative tasks such as upgrading buildings, collecting resources and recruiting troops but most of the game play is centered outside the cities where players will survey the server (Kingdom) with an Exploration Team which is lead by a characters Hero.
These Exploration Teams are used for visiting monuments, fighting monsters, colonizing other players cities and collecting treasure.
